Matteson Elementary School

Matteson School serves children from surrounding communities including Matteson, Park Forest, and Richton Park. Matteson School is one of the three elementary schools in District 162 that service children from Kindergarten through Third Grade. Matteson School thrives on the support of parent volunteers along with community and retired volunteers, and welcomes them into the school and classrooms on a daily basis. We feel privileged to have a core of dedicated group of parents and volunteers who consistently provide support throughout the school. They not only support their student's classroom, but also any other teacher and students' needs throughout the building. They have become a pillar of support to our school community. We invite our new parents to join our support team and become an active part in their child's education.

Our teachers & administrators are excellent & dedicated and show the highest commitment possible to deliver an exceptional education to all students. Our goal is to foster a high academic achievement for all of our students. Matteson School is a place where all students are welcomed, loved, nurtured and respected.
